Our Leadership

William L. Gregory - President

Bill knows staffing and recruiting inside and out. He brings more than 37 years experience in the staffing industry, the last 27 with GCR. A natural teacher, he’s responsible for guiding GCR, managing key accounts and overseeing GCR recruitment, including guiding, training, and managing the staff. But he also continues to play an active role in placing candidates and personally developing and maintaining client relationships. Bill attended Salem State College and has a certificate in Electronics from Sylvania Tech. A member of the Massachusetts Association of Personnel Services (MAPS), Bill keeps on top of every change and development in the staffing industry.","Outside of GCR, Bill is a devoted family man who volunteers as a scout leader and leads a variety of local committees. He’s deeply committed to his friends and loves hanging out with the guys. You might also find Bill sweating at the gym, buried in any history book he comes across, or out hunting for buried treasure with his pet metal detector. In his next life, we suspect Bill might come back as a stand-up comic; he’s a very funny guy.

David S. Connor - Vice President

Dave is our resident techie and sales master. He started out testing and repairing modules for disk drivers at Data General. While serving in the US Navy, he programmed COBOL to better handle the reporting of jobs ordering. He spent years as a field service engineer for Digital Equipment Corporation and Hanson Data Systems. Then, he returned to Digital as a Problem Manager in the Engineering Support Group. Dave went on to an executive sales position at Carter/MacKay before becoming Executive Sales Rep at Tab Products, where he studied the fine art of selling and increased sales on an annual basis. Dave joined GCR as salesman but soon became our sales manager. He was promoted to Vice President by showing an uncanny ability to continually help GCR move forward. "," In his free time, Dave indulges his love for golf and foreign sports cars. Mention Ferrari, Bugatti, or Porsche and you’re sure to bring a smile to his lips. A dedicated dad who appreciates every minute with his daughters, you could find him walking the beach with those two treasures or hanging out at any small venue where live music is playing. He’s easy to spot; just look for a smiling guy smoking a cigar.

Deborah S. Finnerty, CFO

Debbie is GCR’s facts and figures guru. Along with a BA in business, she also earned a TSC (Technical Services Certified) certificate. She has more than 32 years experience in management and staffing. Debbie joined GCR in the accounting division but after spotting her considerable organizational abilities, she was quickly promoted first to Office Manager, and then CFO. She’s the one GCR relies on to keep up with the changing landscape of employment law, security, recruiting, technology, sourcing, and benefits.

Away from GCR, you’re likely to find Debbie eating Italian food in the North End of Boston or looking for opportunities to take photographs of wildlife, sporting events, and family. Just ask and she’ll happily share her pictures. She’s also passionate about volunteering, whether it’s with a girl scout troop, at a school library, or at an assisted living center. Her secret ambition is to earn a law degree.
