Six month assignment with conversion
You will work closely with research and engineering teams to translate technical ideas into mechanical designs that can be efficiently fabricated and deployed.
You must have detailed knowledge of engineering principals; detailed knowledge of and experience with modern commercial CAD (SolidWorks) and CAM software and ability to rapidly learn new software tools; an understanding of how material properties and manufacturing processes must be factored into the design process in order to successfully and effectively produce real world products; excellent communication skills; and willingness to work collaboratively and fluidly in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
As a Designer you must demonstrate a strong track record of independence and self-driven execution to complete designs on schedule once the initial designs have been formulated. Seek well-organized, detail-oriented individual who is able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision once a task has been defined
REQUIRED: technical school certificate or an associate's degree; at least four years' related experience;
