Electronics Design Engineer-Board Designer

Flex assignment 12+ months M-F 40 hours weekly

Client is the world's leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines critical to the production of integrated circuits or chips

Client utilizes a variety of technologies to functionally control our lithography equipment.  This functionality includes high-speed, extreme precision digital servo systems for wafer and mask positioning, robotics controllers, positioning mechanisms, photonics / sensor interface.  Client is seeking electrical engineers with strong knowledge and several years of experience in one or more of the fields described above.   

The engineer will work with a team of specialists who will be responsible for developing, testing, and supporting electronics boards or sub-systems. The engineer will define electrical and test requirements, design circuits and test equipment.

Required Skills: One or more of the following skills are desired


Digital Design:

- Design of digital data acquisition system;

- VHDL embedded code for FPGA logic;

- A/D and or D/A;


Analog Design:

- Low noise analog interface for sensor application; photonics sensors;

- Power amplifier design (motors / actuators);

- Capacitance gauge, LVDT interface design;

- A/D and or D/A;


Test Equipment Design:


- Development of test equipment and test procedures to test and qualify analog and digital circuit boards or electronics racks;

- Implementation of data acquisition hardware / software;


B.S. Electrical Engineering, MS Preferred

7+ years of digital, logic, and/or analog design.
