Client is seeking an engineer with an B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or the equivalent. The work will be focused on analyzing and designing guidance, navigation, and control (GN&C) algorithms and flight software. The analysis will include assessment of control, navigation, and guidance system performance, verification of algorithms and algorithm requirements, and analysis of flight dynamics and trajectory dispersions. Time domain simulations, covariance-based methods, and Monte Carlo dispersed analysis will be used to assess and tune system performance and to document analysis results.

¿ Background in dynamics and linear analysis of aircraft, spacecraft, and missile closed loop performance (inner and outer loop)
¿ Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink
¿ Knowledge of GN&C algorithm techniques and simulation modeling techniques


These contractors will support simulation development for a complicated algorithm-development simulation. This simulation will be of a multi-stage rocket and hypersonic glide vehicle in support of the development of high quality / highly reliable algorithms and flight software. Work will be in a closed room at the Secret level (Secret or higher clearance is required).
