About the Job

Our client develops high-performance computing and visualization products to solve some of the world’s toughest and most interesting challenges. We are searching for a Hardware Test Methodology Engineer. As part of our client's Virtual Bring-Up (VBU) central methodology team you will work across the product portfolio to develop and enable methodology and tools to tackle key design cycle challenges for the company by leveraging?Accellera Portable Test and Stimulus Standard (PSS), hardware-based emulation/prototyping and virtual platform technologies.

Ideal candidate would have interest in hardware design, firmware, OS, and software development with focus on best practices for design, verification, and ease of debug.

Duties include:

  • Development of AMD wide Portable Stimulus tests and infrastructure for various design IPs and SoCs.
  • Development of technologies for hybrid emulation that includes Virtual platform and hardware accelerators.
  • Development and support of emulation infrastructure to support complex IP and SoC.
  • Synthesizable transactors, C++, SystemC or UVM testbench, Fully synthesizable testbench
  • Partner with customer teams across business units to enable the methodologies, as well as improve execution efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. or higher in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Hardware design, verification, or firmware background
  • High-level programming with C++, Python, Perl, Ruby, C
  • Experience with RTL design simulation and verification
  • Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar backgrounds considered.
  • Computer architecture and standard hardware IPs like PCIe, USB, Display, Video, Audio etc.
  • Interaction of hardware and software
  • Clean software architecture
