Manufacturing Technician

(2) contract positions M-F 40 hours weekly 6 months Contract to direct hires


The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for routine manufacturing operations for the production of clinical and/or commercial products, operation of production equipment according to SOPs, and other daily activities on the manufacturing floor

I.      Essential Functions and Responsibilities

        Performs manufacturing activities including but not limited to work functions in electromechanical assembly and disposable assemblies (cassettes, cartridges).

        Maintains records and controlled-room environment to comply with regulatory requirements, GMPs, and SOPs. 

        Provide in-process testing to assure batches meet specifications. Will train personnel in new and revised procedures.

        This position will be required to understand operations and contact appropriate support to ensure issues are appropriately resolved.

        Responsible for recommendations for process and system improvements.

Will be required to identify process deviations and notify management

I.      Knowledge and Skills

      High School diploma, technical degree or 3-5 years manufacturing experience

      Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred. 

      Demonstrate a practical understanding of lean manufacturing principles and statistics.

      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must demonstrate the ability to set and meet deadlines

Ability to lift up to fifty pounds

Ability to stand or sit for up to two hours

Capable of reaching bending stooping

Ability to reach above head and below waist

Correctable vision to 20/20
