 This position will be responsible for 4 areas:
-  Sales order management and production control,
- Production schedule,
- Work order management
- MRP/MPS development. There will be other responsibilities include being a key participant in ERP implementation, SIOP management, and inventory control. This position will also perform other various duties.

Experience with the following - Required:

*         You will manage sales order entry and order acknowledgement process

*         Be responsible for maintenance of sales orders for data accuracy

*         Thorough understanding of master scheduling/production scheduling and planning

*          Utilize sales forecast and order backlog to  create demand plan

*          Create Master Production Schedule (MPS} from demand plan

*         Create MRP from combined demand and forecast

*         Close works orders upon job completion - evaluate variances -  run to root cause and facilitate correction

*         You will support successful integration  of engineering projects to   production

*         Drive and participate  in continuous improvement/  Lean   initiatives

*         This position will also perform other various duties

*         Skills Required:

*          Please have strong ERP knowledge (sales orders, work orders, and inventory transactions} and experience in ERP data management

*          Previous experience in  master scheduling and planning, and production control (releasing/closing work-orders}

*         Solid understanding of inventory movement and transactional integrity, production and supply chain planning, and production control in a low-volume/high-mix manufacturing environment

*          Understanding of Import/Export Compliance requirements

*          Knowledge of key Lean concepts such as Kanban, Kaizen, and Poka-Yoke

*          Knowledge of capacity planning and Theory of Constraints

*          A strong background in data analysis, spreadsheets, and reports

*          Experience in inventory variance analysis and shortage  reporting

*          Previous experience or working knowledge of SIOP planning and MRP

*          Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a global setting

*          Proficient in MS Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint}

*          Strong interpersonal skills, including effective written and oral communication abilities

Education Required:

*          A Bachelors degree in related field

*          APICS certification or equivalent is highly preferred
