Programmer/Analyst

Contract 3+ years, 40 Hours weekly

Clearance:
Candidates must have an active Secret Clearance to be considered for this posting.

Candidates need to be local to the MA, area. This position requires someone to be in the office 3-4 days a week.

Description:
Builds and codes applications and/or modules using a variety of programming languages. Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems. Designs web based, mobile technology, cloud, and security interface to meet the specific needs of users. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, technical specifications, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. May build add-on modules using application program language and/or be involved in user testing to provide actionable insights that drive future system design improvements. May have vendor management responsibility. May partner and collaborate with cyber security teams to ensure compliance with security standards as well as development operations team while automating process of software delivery and infrastructure changes.

he BMDS Integration Group supports the Missile Defense Agency in the development, deployment, testing, and enhancement of the ballistic missile defense system. This system is currently being developed, to defend the United States, deployed forces, and allies from ballistic missile attacks. This group performs detailed system and component engineering, flight and ground test analysis, and advanced capability development in collaboration with the contractors and government program offices that are building the missile defense elements and components. The group has a need for a Programmer/Analyst to support who will be tasked with developing and maintaining the software used to process and evaluate data collected during field experiments and flight tests of the BMD System.

Required:
BS with 15 years experience OR MS plus 8 years minimum experience.
Acceptable candidates will have a degree in Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other STEM field Experience in programming using, Web Application Development, C/C++, LINUX, JAVA, Gitlab, Python, QT, and MATLAB

Nice to have:
Background in RF Systems strongly preferred.
Experience in agile development process
