Project Manager Job Description

•                     We are looking for a project engineer who has experience with engineering product development processes/best practices.  Using an internal customer perspective, will coordinate cross-functional teams of impacted stakeholders and can perform non-technical project management to completion, both on time and within budget. 

Responsibilities

•                     Continuous improvement. This includes all elements of the engineering development and release process from the tools we use to communicate, to the engineering practices themselves

•                     Work cross functionally to align with requirements and functionality with stakeholders

•                     Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation

•                     Create, present and maintain effective training

•                     Use Lams Problem Solving and Decision Making methodology

•                     Review processes for continues improvement opportunities

•                     Present project plans to senior management, gain buy in and deliver results

•                     Analyze program risks and provide mitigation

•                     Managing CFT with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities

•                     Developing evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement, including post mortem

Requirements

•                     Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Business Administration, or Supply Chain with a minimum of 4 years of related experience or equivalent experience.

•                     Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools

•                     Experience in building reports using SAP data. Access and Excel. SQL a plus

•                     Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

•                     Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•                     Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

•                     Strong leadership and managerial skills with applicable experience

•                     Proven experience managing a team

•                     Strong influencing, negotiating and conflict resolution skills

•                     Process knowledge in PLM and ERP required

•                     Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

•                     PMP, MPM, or CPIM certification is a plus
