Quality Assurance Engineer

US Citizen only, with the ability to obtain a security clearance
Contract Assignment- 6+ Months

 M-F 40 hours weekly

Essential Functions & Qualifications:

The candidate will work in the Product Assurance Division supporting quality engineering and production support related activities. Tasks may include:

Collecting, developing, and presenting monthly subcontractor quality metrics to management and the customer. Identifying areas for improvement based on the metrics data.

            Coordinating/monitoring supplier audits across program efforts. This includes:

­           maintaining the audit schedule by working closely with Client and subcontractor audit team(s)

­           collecting/recording/analyzing audit results

­           identifying areas for improvement based on data

­           maintaining the supplier audit database and procedure

            Participating in monthly audits/evaluations of assembly and test labs and assisting in compiling the results

            Performing internal audits against program requirements

            Working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop processes and documented procedures for handling, repairing, and troubleshooting hardware

Education and Experience:  

  In addition, the candidate will also work with other quality engineers on special tasks related to root cause analyses, process improvements, and other production related activities.


An Engineering BS or MS Degree with 5 years working experience.

The ability to cooperatively work as a member of a team in a technically challenging environment is required. The ideal candidate should be well organized, have good interpersonal skills, and be able to effectively communicate in oral and written form. The candidate should be self-motivated and be able to work independently and in team situations.

A solid working knowledge of MS Office products, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.

US Citizenship and ability to secure a government clearance is required.
