TECHNICAL RECRUITER - GCR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

POSITION OVERVIEW

GCR Technical Staffing is in a period of high growth and expansion. This has allowed GCR a wonderful opportunity to add multiple motivated and driven individuals to join our team of successful recruiters. As an accomplished staffing firm, we focus on the technologies of the future and offer unlimited earning potential for the right candidates. You will work within our established teams, learning the skills to identifying, cultivating, and placing contract IT ,Software and Engineers professionals in local and national markets.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely within a team environment analyzing business needs and using enhanced and proven staffing strategies to achieve professional and company goals

  • Full life cycle recruiting from initial candidate contact through offer/acceptance

  • Participate in on-going training

  • Work directly with our clients to review, qualify and fully understand their job requirements

  • Source candidates through various avenues including using our established database of qualified candidates, networking, job boards, social media, career fairs and direct contact

  • Work closely with sales and recruiting colleagues to fully understand and qualify the clients hiring objectives and requirements

  • Work directly with high-level candidates to clearly define the opportunity, pay rate and benefits

  • Develop and maintain relationships through honest and ethical business practices

  • Demonstrate superior negotiation and closing skills throughout the hiring process

  • Participate in the development, enhancement and implementation of recruiting initiatives

  • Play a key role in the future growth of our company

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree preferred not required

  • Ideally a minimum of one year of experience in agency or corporate recruiting environment

  • Previous recruiting or sales experience preferred, will consider entry-level candidates

  • Excellent telephone skills needed, with cold calling experience preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to learn and understand cutting edge recruiting techniques:

    • Experience with internet research skills

    • Experience using social media tools to source and recruit candidates

  • Proficiency with MS Office

  • Applicant tracking system experience a plus (we use Bullhorn)

  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills
